February 25, 2026 On February 25, 2026, at approximately 11:36 a.m., officers from the Town of Vestal Police responded to a report of an individual experiencing a mental health crisis in the area of 581 Sequoia Lane. Upon arrival, officers encountered an individual who was in possession of a knife and threatening self-harm.   During the course of the interaction, officers made numerous requests for the individual to drop the knife.  The individual ignored commands and threw a
