Traffic Stop in Clayville NY Leads to Drug Arrests & Seized Methamphetamine

CLAYVILLE, NY — A routine traffic stop in the Village of Clayville led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of methamphetamine, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol.

On Sunday, July 20, 2025, at approximately 1:50 p.m., a Patrol Deputy assigned to the Waterville Field Office pulled over a U-Haul truck on Dewing Avenue. The driver, 27-year-old Dylan Keenan of Bridgewater, was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Authorities also confirmed that Keenan is currently under the supervision of New York State Parole.

As deputies conducted their investigation, they discovered a quantity of methamphetamine along with narcotic packaging materials inside the vehicle. A passenger in the truck, 19-year-old Felicity Wystozaly, also of Bridgewater, was taken into custody in connection with the illegal substances.

Keenan and Wystozaly were arrested and each charged with the following:

  • Conspiracy in the 6th Degree

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree

  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree

Both individuals were processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and released with appearance tickets. They are scheduled to appear in Paris Town Court at a later date.

The investigation remains ongoing.
