Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Jefferson County - State Police Investigating

The New York State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Friday, July 10, 2026, at approximately 10:04 p.m. on State Route 3 in the Town of Wilna, Jefferson County.

The preliminary investigation determined that 21-year-old Damon S. Intorcia, of Carthage, was operating a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on State Route 3 when he exited the north shoulder of the roadway, struck a guide wire, and was ejected from the motorcycle.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Intorcia deceased.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. No evidence of foul play was identified, and the investigation has been closed.
