Woman Arrested Saturday afternoon on Felony Grand Larceny Charge after a foot pursuit - New Hartford NY

Saturday afternoon at approximately 1:30 pm, New Hartford Police Officers responded to Target located at Sangertown Mall on Seneca Turnpike for a reported theft that was in progress. While in route to Target, loss prevention officers reported that they were monitoring a group of individuals by way of store surveillance systems acting suspiciously inside the store.

Upon arrival, it was reported that one individual was fleeing the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise. As police arrived, they observed the female suspect, and the suspect began to run. After a brief foot pursuit, the female was taken into custody by police. It was determined that $1002.65 worth of Target Store merchandise was stolen.

The suspect identified as Nichole Slattery, 29 of Utica, was arrested and charged with the following;

1) One count of PL 155.30, Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a class E Felony.

Slattery was transported to The New Hartford Police Departmen,t where she was processed on the chargeand then released on an appearance ticket returnable to The Town Of New Hartford Court on June 26.
