Floyd Teen Arrested Following Domestic Incident; Faces Felony and Misdemeanor Charges

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, Patrol Deputies were dispatched to a domestic incident on Stearns Road in the Town of Floyd just after 3:30 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.  A 17-year-old male juvenile, whose name will not be released due to age, first struck a household member and then pushed another household member into a wall to prevent a 911 call despite an Order of Protection in effect protecting that member.  Both victims claimed to be uninjured.  The juvenile was arrested and brought to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building, where the Juvenile Aid Unit assisted.  The juvenile was charged with Criminal Contempt in the first degree, a class E Felony, Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, a class A Misdemeanor, and two counts of Harassment in the second degree, a Violation.  The juvenile was processed and issued appearance tickets directing him to appear in Oneida County Court Youth Part and was released to a parent.
