According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on November 29th, 2025, a Rome man was arrested following a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a firearm.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Utica couple was taken into custody after a traffic stop in New Hartford led to charges including Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Governmental Administration, and Resisting Arrest.
